FreightMiner is an advanced mobility company whose technology is an aftermarket, retrofitted autonomous-driving conversion kit for freight trucks. The company’s technology enables trucking fleets to operate nearly 24/7 under any weather or daylight conditions, allowing them to generate twice the revenue from hauling freight by eliminating in-cab driver costs. Its hybrid approach – off-highway remote driving operations and autonomous highway driving – enables trucking companies to handle complicated driving tasks and inclement weather conditions.
An early-stage company, FreightMiner is an example of the many clients that the SBDC Tech Team supports as part of our participation in numerous accelerators and boot camps across the state. As a result of coaching the founder during the Spring 2023 SPARK Bootcamp and beyond, the Tech Team provided support in customer discovery, target marketing identification, go-to-marketing, product development, and financial planning, resulting in the company taking first place at the Best of Bootcamp competition and setting the foundation for long-term success.
“Working with my SBDC business coach, Scott Taylor, has been transformational for me and for FreightMiner. Scott has been instrumental in helping to develop our elevator pitch, slide deck, go-to-market strategy and business road map. We are grateful to Scott and to SBDC for showing their generous support and we look forward to furthering this relationship.”Al Houry, CEO
