Vulnerabilites Found in Netgear Routers

On June 29th, CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency) issued an alert stating multiple Netgear home routers are susceptible to hackers who can grant control level access to the routers.


What You Should Know

Just like with our business computers and smartphones, our wireless routers also require regular updates to protect them from cyber-attacks. With large amounts of the workforce still working remotely it is important to perform the necessary updates to these routers to reduce the risk of business data becoming exposed.

If you have a Netgear router checkout the list Netgear has published to see if you own one of the impacted routers. Netgear has provided links to updates and instructions on how to reduce the risk of the vulnerabilities.
