Micromyx was founded in 2004 to support drug development by providing bacterial/fungal testing services. The Michigan SBDC Tech Team supported Micromyx to help it grow and meet key milestones before being acquired in 2019 by Microbiologics, a leading provider of microbiological testing controls, high-quality biomaterials and testing services. The current Kalamazoo location remains and continues to drive revenue and job creation in Michigan.
