Ella and Jeremiah are not newcomers to the Jackson culinary scene. They build their reputation for quality and excellence starting in 2019 with Big Guy Catering. This established catering company has been the backbone of countless successful events, mastering the art of high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.

“Big Guy Catering taught us everything about consistency, scale and what people truly want from a dining experience,” said Jeremiah. “Luna Lux Lounge is the natural evolution – a beautiful, permanent home where we can extend that level of service and curated cuisine every night.”

The Hephzibahs have been working with Michigan SBDC Associate Regional Director Shawn Preissle, who has been “instrumental in helping us grow Big Guy Catering and since the inception of Luna Lux Lounge. She helped with streamlining the buildout process, budgeting, business plan creation, resources and referrals. I can call with any question and get an immediate answer with supporting documentation. The mere thought that the Michigan SBDC will work with me for the life of my business is reassuring and comforting that we are not alone,” according to Ella.
