About Pivot Materials
Pivot creates bio-based alternatives to traditional plastics by upcycling agricultural waste. The company reduces plastic waste by using up to 100% bio-based materials in some products and up to 50% less plastic in their fossil fuel-based products. They use agricultural waste like bamboo fibers, rice, barley, and coffee hulls in their bio-materials, reducing their carbon footprint and avoiding the burning of agricultural waste. The company also uses simple energy efficient processes for production.
Pivots’ materials have a wide range of applications, including the automotive industry, home and houseware products, shipping pallets, packaging, and disposable items where strength is required. Their materials can be used in most current conventional manufacturing equipment and are available at competitive prices.
