When veteran, small business owner, and Michigan SBDC client Gregg Masters took over Golden Choice Inc from a father figure, he re-connected with the Michigan SBDC to tap into the CARES Act funded services that are being offered to small businesses across the state that have been affected by COVID-19.

To help Gregg navigate his Port Huron business – as a promotional advertising item distributor – he worked with the Michigan SBDC and business consultant Shannon Schwabe to re-brand the business, design a new logo, and for free consulting regarding adjustments to help his business through COVID-19 and beyond.

“I encourage other businesses to find out who their local SBDC person is, and reach out to see what services are out there for them that they can utilize,” said Gregg Masters.
