Sharp & Flat’s mission is to pioneer musical innovations that make music and music therapy accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or disability.
Through its Theraplaying Program, it aims to enhance well-being, foster new neural pathways, improve motor functions and coordination, and introduce innovative ways to experience, enjoy and utilize music. Theraplaying uses their multiple patents, board-approved curriculum and pioneering movement technology to transform music therapy for movement disorders.
The company has involved patients, therapists, investors and providers in the development and launch of Theraplaying. It is currently conducting research to further validate product efficacy, starting in Michigan and Illinois. It has been involved in more than 3 years of research with the University of Miami, Northwestern University and the Tokyo University of Technology.
